Install SignCheck on your phone or desktop

SignCheck is a Progressive Web App, which is a fancy way of saying it works inside your browser but can also be installed like a normal app. Adding it to your home screen gives you:

It's a one-minute job, doesn't use App Store or Play Store, and doesn't take up much space.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open SignCheck in Safari (this browser must be Safari, not Chrome on iPhone).
  2. Tap the Share iconat the bottom of the screen — it's a square with an upward arrow.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top right. The SignCheck icon now sits with your other apps.

Open it from the home screen icon — it'll launch full-screen with no Safari chrome.

Android (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open SignCheck in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Tap the menu (⋮) in the top right.
  3. Tap Install app (Chrome) or Add to Home screen (Edge / older Chrome).
  4. Confirm the install. The icon appears on your home screen.

Some Android browsers (Samsung Internet, Firefox) also show an install icon directly in the address bar — same effect, fewer taps.

Desktop (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open SignCheck in Chrome or Edge on your laptop or desktop.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar — it looks like a small monitor with a downward arrow, on the right-hand side near the bookmarks star.
  3. Click it and confirm. SignCheck opens in its own window with no browser chrome, and gets added to your applications list.

If you can't see the install icon, open the menu (⋮) and look for Install SignCheck there.

Removing it later

On a phone, long-press the icon and choose Remove or Delete. On a desktop, open SignCheck's window menu (⋮) and choose Uninstall SignCheck. Removing the install does not delete your account or any of your jobs — sign back in via the website any time.
