Using SignCheck on WhatsApp

No app needed. Message the bot, send photos, flag issues — same audit trail as the app.

The five commands you need

ReplyWhat happens
STARTBegin a job — the bot checks you in (with GPS + time)
MENUShow the current job's options
CHECKLISTWalk through the evidence stages one by one
DONEFinish the current stage or the whole job
ISSUEFlag a problem — describe it and your manager sees it instantly

You can also send photos, voice notes, or plain text at any time — the bot figures out which stage they belong to.

First-time setup

  1. Get the 6-digit team code from your installation manager (looks like 472901).
  2. Sign up at signcheck.ai/register and join the team (see Joining a team).
  3. Add the SignCheck WhatsApp number to your contacts and send Hi.
  4. Reply YES when the bot asks you to confirm your number.
  5. Done — you'll get job notifications on WhatsApp from now on.

Common problems

"I didn't get the confirmation message"

Send any text to the bot first (e.g. "hi") — that opens the line. Then ask your manager to hit Send verification again from your team record.

"The bot says it doesn't know my number"

Your manager hasn't saved your mobile against your team record yet. Ask them to go to My Team → your name → Editand add the number you're messaging from. Make sure the country code is included (e.g. +447…).

"I've changed my phone"

Tell your manager — they update the number in SignCheck and you reply YESto a fresh confirmation message from the new phone.

"I want to stop notifications"

Reply STOP in WhatsApp at any time. To re-enable, ask your manager to send a fresh verification.

Switching between WhatsApp and the app

You don't have to choose one. Send a photo on WhatsApp, then open the app later to fill in a voice note — both end up on the same job. The audit trail is identical regardless of which interface you used.
